If you visit Claire Sweet, 43, a money coach and financial adviser, to discuss your finances you may be greeted by an unlikely colleague: one of her five pet alpacas. Claire first came across the fluffy animals from South America when she hiked the Inca trail in 2009. Premiership Rugby clubs weigh up asking players to take 25% pay cut

Premiership Rugby clubs are considering asking players to take a 25 per cent pay cut while the league is suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak. Following meetings this week, a number of clubs fear only radical moves will keep finances in check, with the league currently shut down until 24 April. Wage reductions would require agreement from the players due to the nature of their contracts and the Rugby Players’ Association is seeking clarification over plans on behalf of its members. Top doc apologises to Western Australia premier over coronavirus comments

The Australian Medical Association's Western Australia president Dr Andrew Miller has apologised for slamming the state government's response to the coronavirus crisis. Dr Miller had called for the immediate closure of schools for all but those in greatest need, for the doubling or tripling of capacity at ICU and Emergency Departments and for medical teams to be pulled from elective surgeries in order to undergo training ahead of an impending spike in cases. 'They are desperate to beat Donald Trump': Super Tuesday to prove who will take on president

Water recycling technology to secure Perth’s future drinking water

This followed the completion of a successful three-year Groundwater Replenishment Trial in Craigie which ended in December 2012 and demonstrated the technology could be used in Perth.
Groundwater replenishment is the process where secondary treated wastewater undergoes advanced treatment, which includes ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet disinfection, to produce recycled water which meets Australian guidelines for drinking water prior to being recharged to an aquifer for later use as a drinking water source.
